What We Offer

We aim to ensure our venues meet a range of access needs.

While facilities may vary slightly between centres, here’s an overview of the accessible features we provide across the Inverclyde Leisure network:

Accessible Entrances & Doors

Most of our venues feature automatic doors and level-access entry or ramps.

Accessible Changing Rooms & Toilets

Changing facilities include accessible changing spaces and toilets fitted with grab rails, emergency cords, and wide-access doors.

Pool Access Equipment

All 3 pool venues offer pool hoists and/or ramp access into the pool for customers with mobility needs.

Wheelchair Access

Most of our venues have been designed with wheelchair users in mind, with step-free access, wide doorways, and lift access where required.

Quiet Hours & Sensory-Friendly Activities

We are exploring the introduction of quieter activity sessions and swim times for those who may benefit from reduced noise and traffic.

Hearing Loops

Hearing loop systems are available at reception desks in some facilities.

Carer Access

We welcome support workers and carers, who are admitted free of charge when accompanying a service user. Please bring appropriate identification or a carer card.

ASN-Specific Sessions

We offer ASN (Additional Support Needs) swimming lessons and aerobic classes. Plus the introduction of climbing and soft play sessions for children coming soon.
